At our Manchester Open Day, we’re proud to host Professor Ameet G. Patel, Consultant HPB, Upper GI, and Bariatric Surgeon at King’s College Hospital. Prof. Patel brings decades of clinical experience and a deep understanding of how UK hospitals train the next generation of doctors.

What you’ll learn from Prof. Patel

👨‍⚕️ Clinical rotations at King’s College Hospital

  • Rotation structure: 12 weeks Internal Medicine, 12 weeks Surgery, 6 weeks Obstetrics & Gynecology, 6 weeks Pediatrics, 24 weeks Electives
  • Opportunities for students: Shadowing consultants, assisting in procedures, participating in ward rounds, and learning from multidisciplinary teams
